why in when you resign ur players, your cap penelties rise so much. I didn't even release somebody that i wasn't supposed to. Please respond.

I believe you will take a hit if you resign someone who is still under contract that had a signing bonus. By the way there is a trick where you can change a players position to make their ratings weaker and resign them at a lower cost. Then you just change their position back. Of course you can only do this if you have more than enough players at the original position.

I think cap penalties are often assessed from the year before... so if you cut someone in the middle of the last season or traded a big star with a big bonus... it's assessed at the beginning of the next year, which is probably when you resign your players...

in other words... it sounds like you're getting bit by moves you made last season.. and it can really hurt you... and I think that's the way it works in the real NFL...

I'm not positive that's what's going on, but I think it's a posibility...
