If you download copyrighted songs from Limewire, whether you use the free version or the Pro version, you are still downloading songs illegally. There is nothing about the Pro version that changes that. It is also an RIAA magnet. Not exactly flying under their radar; not even close.

E-music has very good prices, if you are into indie stuff. They don't have a lot of big names, but it might be up your alley.

iTunes is a bit overpriced at 99 cents per track, but pretty reasonable if you need to pick up a song fast, with good sound quality.

Rhapsody and Napster are other legal download sites, though I haven't tried those since I don't like the subscription "rent-a-song" model. I want to BUY my songs and I want them to be MINE forever, once I do.

Hope this helps.

You can go to http://www.limewire.com and download the 4.10.6 Basic version & it is 100% free.
You can also download ares at http://www.aresgalaxy.sourceforge.net

These Programs are free to use. I have ares and it is great. You can pay for the Limewire Pro but why pay?

Good luck
