Hey Im going to the beach and I am looking for a book that would actually relax me. (Not the kama sutra thank you very much) :) Just finishing with finals and need to unwind.

Well, if you are a girl, then a steamy romance novel - nothing says escapism like bodice-ripping historical romance! And if you are a guy, anything by Tom Clancy.

Or, rather than total escapism, read one of the classics you haven't read since high school (or college), Moby Dick, Tom Sawyer, Pride and Prejudice. Trust me, you'll have a completely different appreciation for it if you are reading them at your leisure, than when you were reading them for a grade.

During my last vacation I read the Harry Potter series straight through.

I find any book by Nick Hornby to be relaxing. Also if you're into graphic novels try Blankets by Craig Thompson.
