i deleted the hard drive reinstalled everything yet no sound
on device managers the soundmaxintergrated audio isnt working cant be updated UGH! where can i get a new driver! or something!
and no i cant take it 2 shop pay some nerd 200 bucks when i couldve just did something myself.

yes my drivers are installed im not THAT stupid. and i installed the drivers and applications myself

if the shop charges $55 an hour
first what is your operating system?
second what soundcard do you have?
is it onboard?
if so what is the name of your mother board?

Assume you have checked the speakers are ON and plugged in correctly.
Have you checked the MS volume control and made shure the playback settings have the master and other volume controls raised and that the mute is not checked?

It cant be updated because there is no driver there to begin with.. Go to your pc/mobo manufacturer website and dl the driver and install..
