I use to listen to the radio and one night they played this song called Carousel once. Just once. I've never heard the song since and I don't know who sang it although it was a guy. The guy made some ballet using Fight of the Gladiators (the real name of that tune constantly associated with circuses) as the music. Obviously me remembering it was as if I witnessed some tragic even.

Hmmm. I don't know about all time, but the worst song that came out in 2006 was Beyonce, Ring the Alarm. She sounds deranged as hell, and nobody needs to know that many details about her relationship with Jay-Z.

"Just a Girl" by Gwen Staffini (?)

The entire song is insulting. A grown (or nearly grown woman) complaining about the hardships she has had by being "just a girl" and unable to do simple things such as drive night, along with sharing the pains of being so "pretty and petite" annoys me.

She uses the proverbial "they" consistently as the they and/or society that will not allow her to be independent and strong.

I am 5'3" and have grown up in the same decade as she, and I am quite independent and do not feel pushed down by society. Each person and groups of persons have hardships, but I think there are far worse things than being a girl.

Whew... thanks for letting me rant on that topic. But she is a very popular singer so I am sure I will get many thumbs down for this answer.
:)

"Tom's Diner" by Suzanne Vega.

Stuck in my head since 1988. If I ever liked this song, it hasn't been for a long, long time.

I think it's Fergilicious! I can't stand that song. I think the Black Eyed Peas were better without her.

anything by Fergie these days.

-She is a very good singer, but on her new album she isn't allowing that to show. her new style is restraining her wonderful voice. in my opinion she was a lot better with BEP. basically she turned from singer to s l u t

"96 Tears" by "? and the Mysterians" drives me crazy. Whenever I hear that repetitive keyboard part, I switch stations.
