Alvis is Lord! - And before your Lordship, embellishes my humble soul with yet another of HIS characteristic medals of honor – kindly notice that I was referring to the cuisines of the three great civilizations of the ancient world, and NOT the present day Italy. Besides, even to this day, the modern Roman (meaning from Rome; Paris – Parisian, Rome – Roman get it now?) dishes are quite different than the regional stuff one might find in other parts of Italy.

I like Chinese cuisine and I eat chinese food sometimes.
Greek food appeals more to me because it has a much simpler taste and the ingredients, vegetables, fruits, fish, and olive oil are very healthy.
On occasion, when I am really lazy I do prefer to eat Roman food but the kind the poor people ate and that is bread olives and some fresh vegetables or fruit.
Now I do have an old friend, Apicius, and he has several Roman specialtlies, maybe I will tell you about him one day if such a question is ever posted lol

I've never had Roman. Chinese is easy to find. So for me it's the rare treat of Greek cuisine.
