I think my grandmother made it in the 50's. I have seen it a few times and thought that looks just like grandma's fruit cake.
I know some people like it but I have smelled one and I think I will pass.
Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas.

Sadly there are more than just one...
However, it appears that all the currently-circulating fruitcakes have dna traceable back to the Great International Christmas Pudding, which escaped its enclosure in Britain in the mid-1950s and ran wild over the length and breadth of the Commonwealth. Although eventually eaten by the courageous Neddie Seagoon, the Pudding's legacy lives on to terrorize the eatrth!

There must be more than one. I have had one in my hall closet for over 4 years. So there are more coming from somewhere?
