i might not have the tech junk i need, so if i don't what do i need? when i put the disk in, the computer just sits there.

Go to Windows explorer and just copy the picture files into a new folder on the C drive.

You may have the feature to automatically read the drives disabled. If it doesnt open, double click the my computer icon and double click the drive letter where the disk is.

Double Click 'My Computer' and then locate your CD Drive, usually labled D:. Look for the one that has a CD pic next to it.

Then double click on your CD drive and you should be able to see your pics.

If your pics don't show up or if your computer slows down, then you have a bad CD or bad CD/DVD-Rom drive.

1- Go to "MY Computer"
2- Put disc into computer
3- Look for where the disc is on that screen
5- Click on that
6- Copy and paste OR Save the images on the disc to whatever folder you wish or create a new folder to put them in

For the non-technical out there here's a really easy piece of software to use... http://picasa.google.com/ it organizes all your photos will import from cd's and camera's and it also creates slide shows and will help email photos...

If running Windows, Double Click "My Computer", double click the "D" drive, should be right there.
