You've had your question answered by everyone else. All I wanted to say was good luck and enjoy holding your perfect bundle for the first time, very, very soon.

I wish you a pain free labour, a stretch I know but still I wish it, and perfect health for you and your baby.

Karma.

I'm due tomorrow and I'm experiencing the same aches and pains. My hips feel like they are going to detach from my body and my pelvis hurts anytime I walk or sit wrong.

I think it's just because the baby is right there and about to come out...could be any day now!

Have you lost your plug yet? If so, it could be in the next few days. If not, that doesn't necessarily mean labor is far away...some women go into labor with their mucous plug still intact. It's pretty much a guessing game from here on out. I'm also 3 cm dilated, but no signs of labor for me yet.

Walk as much as possible...I've heard it helps get everything going!

Good luck and congrats :)

Its probably the pressure from the baby that is causeing the pain. Most doc wont let women go more than a week or 2 overdo so even if this baby comes natural or you are induced the worst case senerio is you have a little less than 2 weeks to do. I would make sure you are ready to go and have your list of people to call handy. Good Luck and Congrats!!

Well...it will definately be soon! But that is easy to say since you are already full term. It could be anytime now. The discomfort you are feeling is very normal...especially in the last two weeks of pregnancy. Your body is getting prepared! :) Don't go by your dialation though...you can be dialated for weeks and still go past your due date.
Go for a walk, take a nice shower, eat a healthy meal, drink lots of fluids and get some rest...it won't be long!!
Good luck and Congrats!!

if you are 3 cm dilated you will have your baby soon, and why do not you go to hospital, my Dr told me that I can get epidural when I am 3-4 cm dilated.

good luck

has your dr talked to you about inducing labor???

they should not allow you to go into 42 wks. that's when fingers start getting webbed and the baby is just in there too long. the placenta can start failing and you could stop producing amniotic fluid.

anyway...i hope they discussed this with you.

hang in there, i'm sure it will all be over soon!
