I had two, a dinosaur named Felix, a horse named Phoenix. They went everywhere with me, I loved them. They always knew what to do. Unfortunately, I remember the day I stopped seeing them. I was at primary school, I had new friends and no time to play with my imaginary friends. So I thanked them and told them it was time to go. They cried and never came back. Anyone reading this will most likely think it strange, the truth is, I moved around a lot as a child, never staying in one spot more than a month. Only natural I would get so attached to my imagination!!! What surprises me the most, looking back, is how easily I let them go, when they were all I had back then.

They surely are not abnormal. Kids have such excellent imaginations, to just let them be with their "imagined" friends is THE best way to let a child grow and develop. Once they see its okay for them to believe in what they see even if its only them seeing the friends, they grow up to have more confidence in their own dreams and abilities. So if I had kids I would never discourage this behavior in any way. I think that if a lot of adults these days couldve went farther with their own ideas as children, they'd have grown into far more happier, thriving adults.

I personally think this is a normal behavior for a very young child. It is using the imagination. Young children have a great imagination! Although there are believes out there that children are more open to the spirits around them.
When people are talking to God, is this not the same behavior as the children who have imaginary friends? We can not see this God, but some still talk out loud to there God.
Todays society and societies past have not excepted this behavior and children learn this is wrong. I do not believe this behavior is wrong at all...
These are my thoughts about this subject...

It is the most beautiful thing of being a child. I had a Zoovra my self.
It was an imaginary horse type animal, well I don't remember exactly, but that was my imaginary friend.

I don't see that there's anythign wrong with it. Myself, I'm a very solitairy individual and I grew up being the only child in the house excpet for my sister, 18 years my senior. So I learned to talk to my stuffed animals. I think this is similar to having immaginary friends, and there is nothign wrong with it certainly. It does not create delusions that these friends really exist, it just helps you find friendship where you might find loneliness otherwise.

Many many childen are given this talent, to be able to see what we label as "imaginary friends". Many childen are given the talent of being able to see the
imaginary friends. Depending on heredity, the talent is not given to all childen. A high sensitive heredity can be given the talent. The more spiritual are relatives in a chld's background, the more that child is likely to be able to see spirit friends.

I don't think anything is wrong with it. Maybe the child needed more attention.

ok,
Are they invited over much?
The real question is do they replace real friends in your life? If the answer is yes, sometimes that means that some friends have been mean to you and hurt you. So, enjoy whatever friends you have.
GOD bless us one and all, always!
