Buy a USB 2.0 PCI card. Turn your computer off. Take it apart (usually two phillips head screws holding the side panel). Put in the card in any of the slots it will look like it will fit in. You will probably have to pop out the metal slot cover so the card can stick out the back of your computer. The card will hold in place with a little phillips head screw. Put computer back together. Turn your computer on. Windows will see you added new hardware, follow the prompts and voila! You have USB 2.0!
These cards are cheap these days. $12.99 at CompUSA.

or $13.99 for a 6 port:

Don't worry. These things come with instructions. If someone nice works at your local CompUSA, they'll probably even show you how to do it. If you really can't figure it out, they can install it for you, for a nominal fee. Personally, I'd just find someone who has seen the inside of a computer before to pop it in if I couldn't figure it out myself. It takes 2 minutes top.

You can purchase and install a PCI USB card and install it in your PC. I purchased one from Wal-Mart for one of my older computers. Just read the instructions before you start. The one I installed only took a few minutes to install. Cost about $25
If you have a laptop, it is not easy to permanently upgrade to USB 2.0. You can purchase a USB 2.0 card to go into the PCI card slot. These are usually more expensive than the type used in a desktop PC. Look at the Tiger Direct or CDW website.

You can buy a PCI adapter card that can add a couple USB 2.0 ports to your computer. It may run you ~$50, and you'll have to open up your computer and install it yourself. If you really need the speed upgrade that you get with USB 2.0, it might be worth it.

Video enjoying cards help decrease the burden on the processor while it includes photograph classes alongside with video modifying, photoshop, and video games. Your CPU can carry out lots of the photos processing yet its in simple terms yet another component for it to do. in case you do have an integrated video card and improve to a real video card can run from $seventy 5-4 hundred depending on what you decide on/can take care of to pay for. in case you purchase a clean video card and don't see lots of an progression then you definately can constantly return it to the save and in basic terms an hour of a while became used. All different advancements are lots extra cost/hard paintings extensive and you won't even see lots of a return.
