the people below don't seem to comprehend he's asking valid questions related to our govt. i agree that the way he presented the question is questionable, but he's right in questioning our current representation. especially our current executive branch of govt. who is the govt. accountable to?
i hope this recent shift in our political landscape has shown that the people are here to keep accountability of a govt. that is completely inundated with special interests and corporate multi-national agendas. i'm an independent btw. neither party i completely agree with.

You have to prove that
1) you work for an organization that has immunity from the "Freedom if Information Act"
2) you have been authorized by a government sanctioned organization to have "top secret clearance"
3) the material you are trying to hide is not jeopardizing the safety of others.
That being said, you sound like you are 12. Go to school. Read a book instead of watching TV. The police/government has more abilities/powers than citizens because we gave them that power. I supposed if you went to any American History class, you would have learned that.

Most large cities have citizen review boards which go over police complaints and have ultimate jurisdiction over the police.
