As long as baby started moving again, all should be fine. Pregnant women have much worse things happen (falls, car accidents, etc) and usually baby is just fine. I would do a movement check today every couple of hours to be sure though (drink something cold and surgary and lay down for about 30-60 minutes and count how many times you feel movements). I wouldn't recommend doing it again!
Good Luck!

Contact your midwife or GP if you are concerned, particularly if you do have any worries about how much the baby is moving or if you have any beeding or loss of fluid from the vagina. Things *sound* as if the baby's OK, but I'm not in a position to judge.
I'd be very careful of taking medical advice from people on Y!A if I were you. Even a qualified doctor or midwife can't advise you without talking to or seeing you. For anything important, it's not worth the gamble on the quality of advice you get on here.

She is probably fine. She has a lot of cushioning in there. Just be aware of your body for a few hours. Make sure that she is moving around and that you don't have any cramping or fluid leakage. Just listen to your body.
My sister was 38 weeks along and was chased by a dog in her driveway...she fell belly first and baby turned out just fine and was actually a week late and weighed almost 10 pounds!
Good luck and Congrats!

Lisa, try not to worry. I fell up some stairs when I was pregnant and really banged my tummy - all was well. If you're not in any pain, bleeding etc and baby is still moving as normal, then I wouldn't worry.

5 things
1. Chill before you upset yourself any further, it was a mistake and mistakes happen
2. Tell someone close to you what happened so they know and can talk to you and watch over you
3. If you are really worried then go to A & E as in NOW and read 4 and 5 later, WELL?
4. If you want, wait till the morning and go and see your GP to get a professional opinion as in Serial 3 above
5. Please let us all know what happens as I am sure I am not the only one worried for you and the wean

If your baby has moved again I would not worry. If you are still concerned call your doctor and tell them you fell on your belly and maybe they will have you come in. I am sure your baby is fine she is well protected. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

Don't panic!! I used to do that all the time during both my pregnancies! I used to dive onto the sofa.
Same reason as you, I kept forgetting I was pregnant!! (The 9 months of morning sickness and a huge belly were obviously not warning signs!)
