It obviously does to you. The real question is why. If you search, you will find the reason you think this, and that's why you connect wearing boots with a little more power.
All military have boots - so many think that's power. Guess when they stand in front of the enemy, they don't have so much power without the weapon.
Do you feel the same without your boots on? That's your answer. I guess we all have a mask of some kind.

Depends what kind of boots. If they're nice, elegant and feminine it seems to me to make a woman more attractive and pleasing to the eye. In fact I really like it when women wear such boots. Army boots on women just look gross to me. I don't perceive any extra "power" one way or the other, though...but that's just me.

Well , lots of powerless whinny girls also wear them, but maybe to them , there is an illusion of power .
Women with real power wear boots for functional reasons and never think about getting 'power' from them .

No, it may give you a little more warmth, the odd blister, and depending on where they stop, the odd wolf whistle, but I don't think that power, as volts, confidence or politics is increased or diminished by wearing a little more leather on your feet.

wearing boots is to warm your feet
it is not connected to feminism in any way
why couldnt you see all that DOES empower women rather than write a stupid question on boots
ps oh thats true if you use the boots to beat up your husband of kick him while wearing them i suppose you have power..the wrong type though but men deserve it...lol
