Hi I am a songwriter. I have produced a master CD and need to add a bar code. Then I take my duplicated CDs with bar codes to the retail outlets. How does the bar code system work at this stage? how is the outlet paid from my CD etc? How am I paid?

A bar code is just a string of numbers given to a product to identify it. There are fonts that you can get that convert these numbers into a bar code. As far as how you get paid, I would assume that you would have to work that out with the individual retailers.

Bar codes are iddividual like DNA. They are just trying to protect themselves. Good luck
