when I last visited Liverpool I went solo and I was on my own so I did walk alone.

I would do in the daytime. I'm sure liverpool is like any city with areas to avoid, esp after dark

You can walk alone in Liverpool but as Scouses are such wonderful, friendly, outgoing people its difficult to do.

Never walk alone not with out a buddy if you want to avoid getting mugged raped shot etc.
