Its pretty much vinegar and water in a bottle that you inject into your vagina to "cleanse" yourself. But its actually really bad for you because it pushes the bacteria you have in you up further and can cause serious damage and infections.

A douche was created to "cleanse" the vaginal canal. However, it has been shown to do more harm than good.

People who douche regularly are more prone to vaginal yeast infections (because the natural balance of beneficial bacteria are washed away).

As well, if you already HAVE an infection of some sort, the jetting action of the water can push the infection into the cervical canal and into the uterine cavity, creating a potentially fatal infection called Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID).

The vagina is a completely self-maintaining, self-cleansing organ, and it is best left alone!

A Douche is used after your period. Usually about 2 days after you completely stop bleeding. If you douche sooner it may start your blood flow again. Sometimes you can douche after sex, if you feel that you need to clean any left *** the male left in you.

If you douche too much you can get a yeast infection and over dry your vagina. It is best to use about 2 times a month.

Douches are used to cleanse out your vagina, usually after sex or your menstrual period. But your body cleans itself naturally so if you do choose to use them don't over use them. I was addicted to being fresh and clean in high school and now I have to use baby soap down there because regular soaps can easily dry me out! I also need a little oral stimulation sometimes to get intimate mositure when I use to be wet and wild!!

It is used to cleanse the uterine area (inside the vaginal walls), but doctors now warn that douching does destroy the helpful bacteria in the vaginal walls, and could lead to infections. Most women use one after a period to feel clean inside.

To clean out your yooha, but you really don't need it - just keep it clean with your usual bathing routine; some people believe douching messes up the delicate balance of chemicals down there.

It is used to clean a woman's private area....but most doctors do NOT recommend its use. It can cause yeast infections among other things.

Please consult your ob/gyn before use of this product.

It's supposed to be for cleaning out your vagina, but since it cleans itself you shouldn't do it unless under a doctor's instructions. They can introduce bacteria and cause all sorts of problems.
