I have a Dean Hardtail Select with Transparent Blue finish. I need a little extra money for Christmas. The guitar is in mint condition and is listed as $1050 on Dean website and is frequently sold at $649 in guitar shops.

I hear ebay is a good way to get good money for it, however, i have never used ebay to sell anything and have no feedback rating. So I don't know if anyone would buy something in the $500-600 range with no user rating. That is the amount of money I would like to receive. Any ideas or suggestions?

I would probably go with ebay. People spend more money that way than just buying from an individual found in the paper or similar. I very rarely look at the user rating. People who are concerned, and use ebay often, would know that they are somewhat protected in their purchases. If someone really gets screwed over on ebay, they can report it. As far as I know, you have to have a credit/debit card to start a sellers account. Therefore, it's hard for a seller to really be too dishonest and in turn not be held accountable, as long as the unhappy customer files a complaint. So, again, if someone is concerned and a real ebay expert, they will know these things, if a buyer is new to ebay...they possibly won't even pay attention to the user rating. Besides, a new user with no feedback is much better than a veteran user with negative feedback. Everyone has to start somewhere. Good luck.

I say sell it to a store. Where i live, some stores actually take, repair, and sell used guitars. If it is mint condition, all the better for you

Honestly, before I read your details, I just thought 'eBay'. I still suggest trying: see what online people may pay for it and see what stores pay for it, then pick the best.

Oh and a humorous concern my chum did in highschool became that he offered circumstances of dad like pepsi, introduced it to college and sell them for a million$ each and each can. it became humorous because of the fact the cafeteria bought pop for a million.50$ so anyone could pass to him rather. He offered the %. for shall we are saying 10$ yet their could be like 20 cans so he made a ten$ income!....yet its greater valuable to purchase them while they're in specific so as which you're making greater income. Getting money is by no skill speedy yet there are straightforward strategies to get it somewhat quicker and that i think of thats by doing issues for human beings!
