I tested 10 days after intercourse and got a faint positive (5 days before my exspected peroid)I was really tired and hungry (same as when I was pregnant with my daughter) I tested again the day I was due to get my peroid but it was neg. I got my peroid a week later with sever cramps (they felt like contractions that lasted for ages) my peroid was heavy with clots. I didn't think anything of it until someone on here said that it could of been a chemical pregnanct inregards to my last question. The doctor wants me to have an ultrasound, i cant get in until next thursday and it will be around the time I will be ovulating and they want $160 up front for the appoinment and i'll get $100 back. Does it sound like that I had a miscarriage and should I go try and come up with the money for an ultrasound or because it was early theres nothing to worry about. thanks for your advise in advance

I had two early miscarriages. I was followed by MD's, but they honestly didn't do anything. I would not waste my money getting an ultrasound unless I continued to have cramping/bleeding past 10 days.

I am sorry for your loss. Good luck TTC again!

you would be having an early miscarriage, despite the fact that from what I realize from the gynecologists i paintings with they have got additionally mentioned that a prolong in getting your interval additionally allows for your endometrial layer to construct up thicker than what might typically be there. There fore by the point you honestly do get your interval that's why it has a tendency to be a lot heavier. Our rule of thumb is if you're soaking by way of a pad an hour or extra that's a major main issue and also you have to search scientific concentration. If the bleeding keeps for greater than four or five days I might name your healthcare professional and provide an explanation for what's going on and so they would possibly desire to look you. I myself nonetheless have not obtained AF despite the fact that did a preg experiment the day before today and obtained a BFN so I'm simply looking ahead to the inevitable heavy interval to return any day now. Good good fortune and expectantly you will not need to move into the sanatorium.

You don't have medical coverage?

You NEED to do what the doctor suggested. If you live where there is a planned parenthood, they can help you with paperwork to get medical coverage.. or even in some cases if you CAN'T get coverage they will help you free. (not bill you)

I would suggest checking into it at least.

Be VERY careful, if you DID have a miscarriage you could develope an infection.

If you had a postive, and then got a negative, and havent had a positive since, then it would have been a chemical pregnancy.

I cant believe they wouldnt just tell you to test again, or just run blood work (50 ish bucks) to see whats going on.

Theyre just running you around if you ask me.
