All the critics said "eragon" was bad--what do other people think?

I read the book so my outlook on the movie can't be considered fair. What is your peoples' opinions on it? (if you saw it)

Would these be the same critics who said "Star Wars" was bad and that people would never remember the movie?
It was a good movie. You need to unplug your brain and just enjoy whats happening in front of you. Some people think too hard about things that are meant to entertain us.

The process FOX used for writing the script to this movie was taking all the pages from the Eragon book, heaving them down the stairs, picking up the 10 sheets that made it to the bottom and turning those into a 'script'.

I'm dead serious too, it was that bad, for all of you who love the books, don't see this movie, it ruins the story.

It's bad!! Doesn't give the book justice. They missed out on alot of things.
