If you need a system that includes HD graphics - PS3
If you need a system on the go - PSP
If you need a system even your grandmother will want to play - Wii
All systems have plenty of games if you keep in mind that the PS3 and Wii can play PS2 and GameCube games, respectively, and the PSP has been out for over two years. If it's quality games you're looking for, the PSP has the most in volume, but you'll never be able to play Mario or Zelda games on a Sony system, if that even interests you.

Wii. For the money, you won't second guess yourself. The system practically pays for itself as soon as you plug it in, although in fun, not cash.
Graphically, it may not compare to PS3 or XBox 360, but it's still twice as powerful as Gamecube, and then there's Zelda.
On the downside, the FPS game Redsteel is glitchy because they rushed it to market, but Raging Rabbids has a few good minigames that provide insight to what a great FPS would be like, and other potential uses for the Wii-mote.

Definitely PS3 because it is also a Blu Ray disk player. Have you seen the price of those. Why not buy something that you get a game system and a Blu Ray player in one for less money? Think about it.

if you have kids buy the Wii. it's cheaper and more durable. the games are great and you really get into them with the new controller system they have. other than that it is personal preference. I vote for Wii

i say the ps3 because the psp is like not new and the wiis they stoped selling them

I recently chose neither one of those and went with the Xbox 360. It has a lot of games already available and Xbox Live is much better than Sony's online service. Either way you go, have a good time!!

this is more of a question you yourself have to answer because if you talk to someone who is in love with the wii than thats going to be there answer so really you have to sample these systems for yourself and then conclude for yourself witch one you like best if you like them all the same than you should try to get them all but find out which one you like and then get that one

I wouldnt buy the wii. The controllers have slipped from peoples hands and can break a T.V. or possibly kill your dog.
