I think they look fab. The coat and jacket from 53 (in torchwood just now) are gorgeous. Were those decades more stylish or just different to today?

The fashions from the 30s-50s were beautiful, classy, sophisticated and chic, totally fabulous, I would adore to wear clothes like that, the women from that era looked so feminine, so wish they would bring them back.

I love styles of the 50s. I just saw The Parent Trap (came out in 1961, not exactly 50s but close) and I really liked some of Maureen O'Hara's dresses! Those were glamorous days, now I think that people just care less. (People back then used to dress up going out places, etc.)

I love the fashion then, it was so rich looking. The 60s were ugly, the 70s were amazing, the 80s were weird and fun, the 90s???? No one really no's, lol

fashion today is scruffy and cheap looking, it seems if you spend £200+ to look as badly dressed as possible, you are fashionably dressed.....
