My children were 18, 15, and 12 when our youngest (surprise!) baby was born. I was 38. Each of my 4 pregnancies, labors, and deliveries were different from each other. The one thing that was most different was the advancement of technology. I never had an ultrasound with my older 3, but because of some medical problems, including developing Gestational Diabetes, I had 12 ultrasounds with my youngest. I was hooked up to a fetal monitor during labor because a gel insertion to soften my cervix caused a bad reaction and I went into contractions that lasted 6 minutes and put the baby in distress. My husband could tell when a contraction was coming before I could feel it by looking at the monitor. He'd tell me it was coming and I could prepare for it. I thought that was definitely easier than how it was with my older 3. I opted for no drugs with all 4. I preferred it that way since I really don't like to take medicine unless absolutely necessary. I could tell I wasn't as young as I used to be during the labor and delivery with my youngest nor was I as agile. Getting into pushing position was harder since I weighed more with my last than I ever did with my older 3 (but then again, they were born when I was 20, 23, and 26).

I had a late pregnancy-my other boys were 9 and 7 when the baby was born (pregnant in my 30's also). Labor and delivery went real fast and smooth! It's so much better when your older and you have "helpers" with the baby! You will be fine!!Congrats and good luck "mommy"!

First, you dont prefer to purpose and set off that early. each and every week that your son is born early can advise yet another week that he would be interior the well being facility. I gained approximately 60lbs on an analogous time as i replaced into pregnant. I lost maximum of it interior of a month. My toddler replaced into distinctly great, and that i had her clearly. each and everything went basically high quality. I additionally didnt sense a single braxton hicks. sooner or later i replaced into basically in exertions. and that i had my daughter each and every week early. basically relax. each and everything would be ok. attempt shifting positions whilst the toddler is making you sense uncomfortable. Its almost over. Youve made it this far. Dont supply up now. :)
