I hope that you read my answer.
Because I had same issue for last 15 yrs.

Tea tree oil can be the answer!!!
It worked for me like a miracle. Nothing worked for me before.
I tried proactive and spent a lot of money with skin care places and dermatologists but nothing worked.

I bought this oil from teatreeking.com... I think.
It's really cheap. You can use Q-tips. Wet you Q-tip with tea tree oil and lightly rub it on your problem area. Do it once a day if you have sensitive skin. I first used it 2wice a day and had irritations.

Believe me but you don't need much. It will work like a miracle.
And I changed my foundation that contains good amount of tea tree oil and I do not have break outs anymore.

I used to cover my face with thick foundation and powders but now I don't even use powder. And make-ups make that condition worse..you know what I mean....

Try it!! They are inexpensive and works better than expensive products.^^ Good Luck^^

Wash your face twice a day with a gentle acne cleanser (and don't exfoliate; though this can get rid of some of the trapped stuff in your pores, it will bring out the pimples), and apply a spot gel or toothpaste to individual blemishes at night. You can also find make-up products that help treat acne; if you don't use the medicated kind, but you still chose to wear make-up, use a very light one so your pores don't get too clogged. Make sure you use an oil-free moisurizer with SPF every day to keep your skin from getting dried out (plus, acne products make you more sensitive to sunlight). If all else fails, see a dermatologist who can recommend prescription products or a routine that suits your skin best.

Ok so everyone says proactive. but that wasnt strong enough for me. I used toothpaste. Put it on the spot at night and wash it off in the morning. Use a basic face wash every day and once a week wash your face with dandruff shampoo(selsun blue). Use a face mask as well once every week or two. Try to keep your hair out of your face and try to not touch your face to much. You'll get oil in your skin and clog your pores. I did this all not religiously but pretty much every day and my skin cleared up in a couple days, and trust me I had really bad acne. And now i only get the occasional pimple.

I'm a fan of proactiv, but it takes a few weeks before it starts working. I also use bare minerals, which is pretty gentle on the skin and provides decent coverage, and you don't have that "too much makeup" look.

My dermatologist told me to use a spot treatment that has 5% benzoyl peroxide. Mary Kay has and acne treatment gel that has that in there, along with other zit-zappers. If you don't already have a consultant, try mine. marykay.com/tarahschoell

there are many products out there that can help check out your local drug store. I recommend trying Clean and Clear Blemish reducer. It about $3-$5 but it's worth it.
