2 years ago my skool did a version of the x factor but called it the K factor instead as r skool is called the Kingsway and it raised lots of money or do a sponsered walk like i had 2 do last year as well - but its really painful walkin 14 miles : ( but it rasied like thousands for some random charites - its worth a shot we do it every 2 years!

We have been very successful with our scented candles fundraisers. No out-of-pocket costs and the group earns $5 - 6 per candle sold.

The most popular are candybars. If you're trying to do one for school, you can contact See's and they will set you all up with the candy. Each bar sells for $1.00 and I believe your school gets 60-75% of all profits.

Selling chocolate covered almonds or chocolate bars. This is especially good if the fundraiser is conducted near Easter when people are looking for chocolate for their Easter baskets.

tubs of cookie dough. Offer several different flavors and it is very popular where we live. The tubs are about the size of a larger tub of butter and sell for $20 a piece.

For christmas we just sold CandyCane Grams....you see its like a telegram but you send candy canes to one another....each cost a dollar and everyday we had a folder and you just took a piece of paper wrote ur name and wrote who u wanted to send it to.
