If you find a good conditioned used 06 model then I would recommend you jump into that. Have you looked around or asked a dealer if there are still new 06 S4 wagons on the lots as they may have some big incentive programs to move these year end models.
If there is not a lot of price difference between a 07 model and a used 06 then I would jump into a 07 model this way you get 1 more year warranty and as well you know how it has been treated.

Get the used version and you'll end up saving a lot more money. The 2007 one starts at $48,500. The used one will probably be in the low 40s. All of the features will be pretty much the same and if you get one with small mileage than it'll basically be like a new car.

get the s4. s-line is just a regular a4 with a styling package. the s4 has a 340 hp v8. an a4 s-line doesn't. GET THE S4!
