I personally believe that gender doesn't play a significant role in someone being an intuitive.

But generally in ancient history, women were far more revered for their connection to nature and the spiritual world due to the Mother Goddess symbolism and fertility means since women can experience childbirth.

Historically, being "creators", women harnass a type of "power" that men don't and that's why most ancient religions are focused on women. Women becoming inferior to men didn't happen until Christianity took a foothold.

Tens of millions of women have died in the last 1000 years (heinously) due to some folks thinking they are more connected to the paranormal.

In general, more women report experiencing more paranormal happenings. This comes from the standards that society has in the fact that men are bigger and stronger and not as in touch with things as women. Men don't want to be known as the crazy one, they'll let their ladies be the crazies. LOL

I believe it is 50/50.

I think that the sensitivity that would pick up on such things is non gender specific. I would also suggest that perhaps, men and women have different wavelengths and pick up on different things (due to the way their brains process, and our evolutionary traits) In folklore, hermaphrodites/transvestites often played important shamanic roles...so perhaps they had the best of both worlds.

Women are more sensitive emotionally. They would have more of these experiences (or at least know they are having them) because men either don't care enough or don't know what's going on.

More than others? What others? Are you asking if humans experience more paranormal events than animals? Try again.

Women. Were more open... we dont feel when have to live up to a manly persona displayed by our four fathers. Were ok with being vulnerable and experienced and countless other things.
