You'd be better off if it's his idea. Guys lose interest quick. If you play hard to get, but possibly interested you just may get him to ask you out.

if he seems that he is interested and not making any moves,grab the bull by the horns and go ask him, after all the world is changing it is not just up to the guys to make the first move

i say ask him, just be prepared to hear him say no... or to have him say yes and then ignore you after...and don't sleep with him until you know that he really cares about you...if you sleep with him right away he'll know you're easy and dump you...
