I have read a few and I really like his style. If you know of any good books by him or similar authors, please let me know. Thanks

Which ones did you read? I thought the opening for timelord was alright. Crichton fans like Congo too.
His latest book has gone downhill. He just slanders all the people who've given him bad reviews throughout the years, and it's just dumb. I really hope he wakes up for the next one.

Older books you may like are Moby Dick and Mutany On The Bounty. Brave New World and Planet of the Apes are similar in politics and plot to what Crichton writes, but his style seems to me more like a Washington Post article.

I used to read him, but found that his quality of books gradually went way downhill.

My favorites of his were Jurassic Park and Sphere.
