Lesbians don't have a problem with men generally speaking. In fact they actually have a lot in common. The problem I think comes from the fact that society is more male dominant and sexist against women and lesbians get treated extra badly by men.
My partner and I like men and have lots of straight male friends. What we don't like is when men don't respect our sexuality and try and convince either aggressively or by arguing with us that we should be straight.
Basically, if you treat lesbians right they'll treat you right too.

This is a stereotype. I know many lesbians and have never found one who hates men. Penis envy??? Maybe some you will find it's the women who probably would rather have been born men not lesbians. most lesbian would rather not have the real thing. Smells too much for them and doesn't look good. I'm straight by the way and hate men more!!!! dildos are more fun and cleaner and last longer and harder.
Men had to make something up when they realised that there are women that don't fancy or want them. So they invented penis envy and man hater.
For the record one gay man I knew hated women more than anything. Misogoynist is a big thing in the man world. Not the other way around.

Most women become lesbians because of the repeated b.s. that men put them through.
If you are consistently cheated on by every guy you meet, always treated like dirt by every boyfriend, your needs always ignored by every man, you eventually tend to believe that all men are like that and you also tend to find comfort in confiding in women who have (likely) been through the same thing.
And finally: during intimacy, women know what feels right and what doesn't, whereas most men just look to poke their stick in and get off.
As for those who are born as lesbian/gay, the above still applies as all of us experience the good and bad from both sexes during one time or another in our lives.

Yes, there are many bitter lesbians. These feelings can result from many things such as abusive boyfriends and fathers, rape, men belittling us or always trying to teach us things and a general distrust. I myself was ditched by my dad at the age of 6, slapped around by my high school boyfriend and raped in college. However, I have no hard feelings toward men. I have a wonderful brother and stepfather and would not dream of holding them accountable for the actions of other a**holes in my life. We don't all hate you, I promise.

I know of a few lesbian friends that aren't complete bitches to men. It all comes with the territory I assume. It seems to me that most lesbians have some sort of underlying reason for their preferred sexual preference. It seems that some people feed into that stereotype, and it angers these women, so they play the part, thus making themselves seem like total bitches, that hate the entire male population with a passion.

Not all lesbians have some evil plan to annihilate the male species... I actually prefer to hang out with men versus women.

Your question has no validity. Have you met every single lesbian? Nope. Have u even met a large percentile? no. I happen to love men. They're great friends. Im just not sexually attracted to them in any way. But if u r given hostility everytime u speak to a lesbian...ummm...maybe its YOU. Not her.

I know quite a few lesbians, both through work, general socialising, and having two ex-girlfriends who were BI, and have never found any who hated men.
