My friend yesterday tore the stuffing out of my jacket. He said I looked gay in the jacket (its bright yellow, from walmart but was warm)

I shivered all the way home today..the jacket's stuffing is all messed up. :( Do you think the coat will be warm if I take the stuffing and put it back in the coat and put a piece of duct tape on the outside to close the rip?

I don't own any sweatshirts or hoodies, just tshirts and I think walking to school tomorrow will be horrible, its supposed to be 20s in the morning and my jacket won't work now. :o(

Aww honey, I wish I could sew it up for you!

Here's a little trick.

Put the stuffing in. Take the duct tape, have it the same length as the rip. Make sure the sticky side is facing up. Slide it inside the rip so that the edges of the rip are on either side and stick it to one side. Pull the other side over top and it should seal. This way the rip isn't as noticeable and no one will realize that there is duct tape there. Basically, you'd be taping it on the inside of the rip instead of the outside.

Dry cleaners sometimes do repairs, or even shoe repair places if you don't have anyone to sew it for you. It shouldn't be too expensive.

don't use duct tape, that's just gonna look weird. That was pretty rude of your friend to rip your jacket like that! If your comfortable wearing it, what's his problem? Tell your friend he owes you for a new jacket.

Go ahead and use the duct tape and kick your friend's ***. They better be buying you a new jacket for Christmas.

And this is supposed to be your friend? Dude - I would give him such a freaking ***** slap for ruining my new coat.

It's your perogative if you wanted a yellow coat. He was probably jealous.

You should make his hatin' *** buy you a new coat!

it was very bad for your friend to rip your jacket. You can't put duct tape to close the rip.It will not look good.
If i were you, i would tell my friend to buy it back,or give me the that i paid for the jacket.Or,you could just buy it back yourself.

Restuff it, you should be able to get some sort of iron on material to seal the tear in it.
