For an art project I have to design five book jackets based on a socety of the future. The designing part is not my main problem. It's the lack of ideas for the front covers is my problem at the moment. I have to invent five laws or beliefs in which my society of the future will have. I was thinking of basing my society on the moon and having a government like the monster raving looney party as the group that set the laws. The laws or beliefs don't have to be serious. If anyone has some ideas for what made up laws I could do I will be so very grateful. Thanks

2. Here are some ideas of my own.
a) The established religion will be the Moonies, just as soon as they abandon Rev. Moon in favour of the Man in the Moon.
b) Just as people celebrated every completed orbit that the earth made around the sun (New Year's Eve parties), so will the moon's citizens celebrate every completed orbit that the moon makes around the earth - it will be called the monster raving lunar party (taking place every 28 days).
c) There will be a rotating list of official moon anthems, to include:
(i) Walking On The Moon - The Police

Err , well the serious answer is that if you know the 10 commandments, then you may find that they have the basic ideas used in most society rules :
Don't murder, steal, sleep with next doors wife/husband, lie, etc
Without these basics,no one can get on.

However sounds like you need to update these,

"Thou shalt not covet thy neighbours Oxygen tank" for instance.

Well, not too original, but that would involve using my brain, and if you can't be bothered (for your own project) then neither can I ...

What about a society governed by the principles of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster?

Peace be upon him and his noodly appendage.
