My wife's aunt is 40. She recently married (for like the fourth time) a guy who's about 65 and loaded. She stays until she has spent everything, then divorces them and takes half of what's left and looks for the next rich schmuck.
I suppose that they both get what they want out of this - she gets a rich dude to give her whatever life she wants and he gets to (presumably) bang a girl young enough to be his daughter. I suppose it just bugs me because in 5-7 years it'll be over again and she will ruin some other guys life
What do you think?

As true as this is, it happens more than you think. I wouldn't worry to much about it...it's not like it's your mother doing it...it's your wifes aunt...and sorry to say but none of your business...just live your life the best you can and don't worry about hers!

I think it is ok since it makes her happy. Would I want something like that to happen to me? Probrably not, but when I get to be 65 you never know.

These men she are marrying might even know whats going on and are convinced that she is here to stay. At any rate, she is 40, at 45 or 47 she may want to rethink this because she is not getting any younger. I know women in there 40 are looking pretty hot these days, but certain things have a way of catching up and she could end up a lonely 65 year old herself.

There is something in this girl that your brother loves, so all you can do is stay out of it. If you hate her so much, why do you want her to come and visit anyway? You should tell your brother that her facebook pages are seen by everyone and that they are hurtful, but then, you don't have to click on her facebook page, either. The girl sounds like a troll, but there isn't really anything you can do about it. You and your family need to leave the ball in your brother's court. Eventually HE may come around. If you approach them, that will give her more fuel for facebook, so don't do it. Once your brother sees that he's being excluded from family functions because of his wife he may change his mind or come by himself. Or not. It's sad, but it's up to him.

My uncle's wife is a gold digger. Her last marriage was with a rich guy. She wears a lot of makeup, is controlling with the money (spends it so much, and she doesn't even work! won't let my uncle use it on his own kids, but she uses it on her family). She's nice to our family but I do wonder if she married him for the money. People will get in the end though. My grandma needs money, only gets under 800 dollars a month. Instead of giving her money, they spend it on diamonds and she takes all her friends out and pays for them at the country club.

Im sorry, but I disagree with what most of the people here have said. Granted, everyone has the right to their opinion. First, do you know how many woman give their entire soul to be with their husband only to be left with nothing when the husband leaves? I think, in my opinion, she is very smart. I think she deserves it. She stays with the guy for 5-7 years. She devotes her time and puts forth effort to please him as she is being pleased financially. Basically, she is earning the money. I see nothing wrong in that. So she leaves him after the money is done with, so what, she worked hard for it. She slept with him day and night. She cleaned, cooked and whatnot to earn the extra left overs there was when divorce arrised.

Some woman are left scraping for whatever they can get when the man leaves her. Some even fight against paying for child support. She's just covering her basis, being smart, and securing her future. Low, maybe - but very very smart.

She will eventually stop. The clock is tickin' so she will settle down. No one wants to be alone. Don't knock 40 year olds either (no I'm not 40 but gettin' there) I'm almost 39 and get hit on and stared at all the time! By men and boys of all ages!! With all that money and the miracle of plastic surgery, Auntie can afford to look 35 for the rest of her life!! Hey, look at it this way, if she keeps doing this, never has kids (don't want to ruin that girlish figure!) she will leave all of her money to you and your wife!!!Give her a high five from me!

Sounds like another Elizabeth Taylor in the making! Some women are just gold digging trash with no morals or conscience!

She is actually spoiling her own life. At 40 she doesn't have much time left to play like this. But I wonder all are the men fell prey to her were Idiots?

It's really sad that money means so much to some people. She needs to learn what's really important in life. Problem is, she never will, and that is the sad part.

Not my type.

Hopefully the daughter will leave, find a good therapist, and mom will have to live on her own merits.

What's the daughter's name? Kidding.... Honest
