Get dressed nice - business casual. Then walk into different establishments like grocery stores, icecream shops, pizza places, etc. and ask to speak with the manager. Tell him/her that you are looking for a job and that you are dependable and a hard worker. If they don't have anything open at that time, ask them if they would like for you to fill out an application to be kept on file. That way, when someone quits, you will be the first one they call. Especially if you present yourself well and make a good impression.

Usually for your age, employers/businesses prefer that you apply in person. You should be on a look out for local stores that attract your interest or a place where you wouldn't mind working. Complete an application/prepare a resume(if you don't have previous experience, you can still put your goals, interests, volunteer work, skills, and the high school you're attending), then ask for the manager's contact information(name, business # and the times they're in the store) so you can call back and set up an interview.

Hm...have you ever had a job before? Anyway, you can look in newspapers, sometimes they have good jobs for younger teens...also look into the average places like pizza restauraunts, fast food, grocery stores, lube & oil places such as Jiffy Lube, retail stores, coffee stands..most places like those will train you. Also you can create a resume, and use yahoo hotjobs! Its a very sufficient tool :) Its how I got my job!! Best of luck to you :)

You should start at your local shops. Have your mom or dad ask if they are hiring. That's how I got my first two jobs. I worked two jobs at your age.
