Actually, baby supplies would be in order. Diapers, baby wipes, bottles, nipples, baby clothes, ect. Another thing, when your mom finally does have the baby, help her with the baby....because a newborn will be crying every 2 to 3 hours for food or changing, and this can get old if she's been doing that for several days. It'll give her a chance to catch up on some sleep. That would be an awesome present for your mom. Best of luck to all of you....Merry Christmas......

Lol.....I don't need your ten bucks but I would get her framed pictures of your family to take to the hospital it was the best gift that I ever got and is fairly inexpensive. She will love having all of you close by even when you aren't able to physically be there and you can use pictures you already have and find really great frames at a Wal-Mart or Dollar store.

How about a scrapbook kit from Michaels? This way she can keep all her pictures of the new baby in it while she takes them and create memories and special pages? Inexpensive and special at the same time. =) PS-I don't want the $10, but I would like the 10 points lol

As a male, I'd want practical gifts: cloth diapers, baby blankets, bouncy chair, jolly jumper, car seat, clothes, 100% natural non-scented/perfumed soaps/cleaners/etc., breast pump and bottles, …
For the woman, I’d definitely get massage, chiropractic, acupuncture, homeopathic, herbalist, spa, etc. appointments. Oh yeah, she’d LOVE that.

This is an easy one. Give her a hand made coupon book with coupons that she can turn into you when she needs to.
Example............1 week dish washing, or taking out trash for a month...........things like that will make her happier than any store bought gift. ....Taking care of yourself and a new baby can be real tiring. Congrats on the new baby.

give her an I.O.U tell her she can cash it in to you anytime she needs a break or help with the baby or house cleaning or anything she wants to use it for.( it will come in handy after the baby comes home and keeps her up a few nights)

Make her a certificate for a thorough house cleaning that you will do while she's in the hospital, so she can come home to a clean house.

A day at the spa. If you can't afford a whole spa package then just buy a facial or a manicure/pedicure. Trust me, she'll love it.
