I've been trying to complete my manuscript, but I keep getting distracted.

I had the same problem trying to get my portfolio done in English class. What worked best was to just start writing, no matter what it was. If I started with something along the lines of "Blah blah blah it's taking forever to do this, I need to vacuum, it looks like it's going to rain, etc...", something that worked would eventually pop into my head.

Write through it. That what I do just keep writing. And then take like a half an hour break to get food or do Yoga. But I always keep writing. It's the only way I get things done. If you let your writers block keep you from getting what you want done, you'll never finish. Good luck with the manuscript!
