Grande parties and delusions. Daisy was a party-hearty-flapper. She only saw what she wanted to see, caught up in her own little party world, she was comfortable with the money, the lifestyle that came from her husband's corruption and greed. She knew what her husband was doing to get richer, quicker, but she choose not to talk about the dangers of corruption. She just wanted to keep dancing and laughing. The lesson that can be learned from Daisy, well - Try not to shut things out because they are uncomfortable or ugly to see, try to see life on life's terms and communicate honestly without the pretense, without the masks of deception, without the icing on the cake. See it, communicate it.

to not be shallow she clearly was materialistic and at the end we see she didnt own up to her mistakes and seems as though she forgot about the love with gatsby when things got tough. she left nick to clean up her mess.she didnt look out for anyone but herself.
