You have got to be kidding - How very dumb on your part - lets talk about the world wars - lets talk about Korea - lets talk about Viet Nam - Really, do you honestly believe Mr. Bush had anything to do with the draft situation - We have a complete voluntary armed services - If they are in the military - they volunteered for it - except for a lot of men and women who wanted to be in the military to make college money - and find some kind of direction -
Maybe, you can volunteer for the marines and they will show you what military and courage really are -
Strength and Honor !

No. Charles Rangle is the one who brought it up.With zero support from Republicans there is no chance of it attaining a veto-proof majority.Democrats objected when the Republican leadership in the House allowed it to come to a vote. Although the measure only got two votes one of which was Jack Murtha the other one was not C.Rangle..

Charlie Rangel is the one pushing for the draft.
The Military does Not want a draft. They just want high quality people like they have now.

LOL I'm glad you added that extra bit of info - I was wondering if you'd lost your mind!

Nope, Bush has not initiated the draft and has no plans to. Ironically, after using the threat of a draft as a scare tactic, it's was a DEMOCRAT who brought it up. Charlie Wrangel of NY.

Merry Christmas!

He would have something to worry about since he didn't finish his Texas Air Guard commitment. And Jenna and Barbie might then have to make a fashion statement in desert camo. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

No. Congress has to pass the Draft, which the President would then have to sign, just like any other Bill.

It's not a draft, it's just the wind whistling between his ears.
