The civil war was the worst war America has ever waged. There were well over six hundred thousand lives lost. This is more lives lost to war than in all of the wars America has fought to date. Hard to believe that we would do that to each other!

of those, in effortless words the Gulf conflict and the Spanish-American conflict (both very short conflicts) had fewer American deaths than the Iraq conflict. there have been unmarried battles in WWII that killed more beneficial individuals than the Iraq conflict. more beneficial individuals died contained in the Civil conflict than were deployed to Iraq.
