so who is your Top 5 right now for next year's draft?
Here's mine:

1. LaDainian Tomlinson- Self explanatory
2. Larry Johnson- He is only getting better.
3. Peyton Manning- He's Peyton.
4. Frank Gore- If he can cure his fumbilitis, he should be one of the best backs next year.
5. Shaun Alexander- If he stays healthy, he is a steal at 5.

Larry Johnson is going to be splitting carries with Priest Holmes next year. Don't think too highly of him next year. A quarterback should never be in the top 5. Shaun Alexander reminds a lot of Jamal Lewis. A bruiser type running back that has nowhere to go but down since his career year. Alexander did bad before the injury. Avoid Alexander until the second round if possible. Trust me, there will be much better options next year.

1. LaDainian Tomlinson
2. Willie Parker
3. Steven Jackson
4. Frank Gore
5. Larry Johnson

You're all forgetting Drew Brees.

Lately, there have been rumors of Larry Johnson ending up somewhere other than KC. Would need to find out where this is before committing to drafting him early - otherwise it could be just like with Edgerrin James.

Also will want to look into some darkhorses that could greatly improve, or may be playing different positions. What if Hester not only starts taking on some WR duties, but actually starts at the position? He has the potential to be great anywhere, and if he starts getting a lot of snaps, he could be putting up awesome stats.

Anything can happen over the offseason, and before deciding on draft orders, it's best to see what teams do. If a team's offensive line is devestated in free agency, retirement, etc, or if a top player suffers (ie LT) suffers a long-lasting injury in the playoffs, then everything changes, right?

1. Do I even have to say it?
2. Larry
3. Shaun (put up great #'s this season despite his health and he's gonne be pissed about his record getting broken)
4. If those 3 are gone, you HAVE to go with Peyton Manning.
5. Maurice Jones-Drew. (that kid will be EXPLOSIVE next year.)

I've taken Peyton back to back years in the first round because everyone's going for runningbacks. In the second round, I usually take an ok back like Rudi Johnson and in the third, I take Marvin Harrison. When peyton and Marvin hook up, I get double points and I won my Super Bowl last year and I'm playing in it this year. If you can't get your hands on one of those top 3 backs, it's best to go with a QB/WR tandem like Peyton/Marvin, Carson/Chad, or THIS year, Brees/Colston.
