I am on a Workgroup with 1 xp pro 1 xp home and 4 win 2k PCs. I have an ATI TV wonder VE tuner card on my XP pro PC. Is there a way to share the TV card over the Ethernet? Easyshare will not work.
Thanks

Nevermind, I just wanted to see if anyone could actually answer the question with a little bit of sense. There are several ways to do this. WME is an example.

LOL! What ever made you think you could share a TV card?

Why don't you try sharing your video card or sound card while you're at it!

Without the actual hardware in the other machine, the software and/or drivers will simply not do anything.

The closest thing you'll get to sharing is to record your programs with the TV card to a file, then watch the file on the other machine(s).

Nope you would need to write a device driver that would allow it to share from the PCI port level. Unless you a damn good device driver writer your out of luck. ATI will not write that type of driver they would prefer you bought more cards. In fact the Sftware User Agreement that you agree to when installing may even specifally state that you can not share the image on multiple computers so if you could write a driver it would be illegal.

Sorry.

the best way to do that would be to use the S-Video output of the tuner card to a S-Video splitter/amplifier. just need to insure that the output from the tuner and the input on the splitter are the same impedance
