I was getting something from my locker yesterday after school, and I overheard a conversation between two guys and a girl. These kids are the ones that are always in and out of trouble. One kid was saying something, but I couldn't tell everything he was saying (they were speaking in hushed voices). All I caught was something about selling stuff in grams and how his dad sells "it" for $7 a gram. I wasn't too worried and I figured I was paranoid. But now I found out that the kid's dad coaches a 7-year-old baseball team, and I'm really worried now. What do I do? I am afraid that they'll know it was me that heard them (no one else was around).

Since you found out about this information, you need to let someone from the authorities know. A drug dealer has no right to coach a seven-year-old baseball team. That is just morally wrong! Instead of letting this situation progress further, it would be best if you could notify someone, like your parents, just an adult that you KNOW you can trust. It would be for the best, actually you can start...right now.

omg. that's just low, to coach 7 year olds and probly be selling drugs. maybe you should tell your resource officer at the school. They'll probly do their best to find out more about the situation (unless they're lazy and dont care). It's really common to use drugs but you should still try to do what's right. And if the kids think it's you that snitched, play it off and just act natural.

Is there a way you can annonomously report it to your school officials. If somethign does turn up and it's illegal substances, then you may be able to bring your fear about the dad up to your parents or the school officials as well.
Or is there a school counsulor you can tell? I would think they should have to keep your anomonity.
This is a difficult situation and I can understand your not wanting the kids to know you said something, but if it's what you think, it is very important to tell someone.

As difficult as it may be you have a moral obligation to tell someone about this. If you are feeling confused about how to do this try calling a teen crisis line. They are trained to deal with these kind of things and should have some good ideas about how to contact the proper authorities.

the very best advice anyone can give you is talk to your parent(s) or an adult you trust. (preferably parent, but not all of us have them) i really wouldn't know what to do myself, but i would be worried about the kids.... but you cannot jump to conclusions. I mean, the dude might NEVER try anything w/ his baseball kids, but you can't know. there are alot of sick perverts out there. Definatly go for help, but try your BEST not to hurt anyone

I would really encourage you to talk to your mom and/or dad about this one. They can direct you, offer help and probably suggestions about keeping you anonymous. If that isn't an option, talk to the school principal or a guidance counselor.
It's good of you to take this so seriously; you never know who might be affected if this is true. Thanks for looking out for the younger kids. Good luck--
