socialist. We already live in a fascist state right now and that obviously is not working. A true socialist state has no one leader and the people truly run the government

Socialist because at least every person would have the necessities to live whereas a fascist government would have only an elite few the rest would suffer.,

usa has been socialist through fact the 1st time we've had elections, and has been fascist because presently after the 14'th exchange replaced into interpreted to intend that firms ought to receive the comparable rights as guy or woman people. those words are basically scare approaches, opt to make you think of Bush replaced into Hitler or Obama is Stalin, or another such wing-nut fantasy.

So you are comparing democratic socialism (where everyone does their best to look out for people and has spawned the Wonderful National Health service in Britain and keeps tight control on employee exploitation and encourages worker rights and ideas like the minimum wage - and is basically the ideology and driving force behind the european union with Facism?

?

State funded = Socialism.

I would prefer socialist, but a true socialist utopia will never happen, because it would need every country to join, and for everyone to accept what they need, instead of just try and get what they want. As for fascist states, they are all sick and corrupt anyway, so I wouldn't want to live uneder that one at all.

Well, if I had to choose I would say facist (I know it'd still suck, but I'm playin along w/ the hypothetical). I'd pick facist because we'd have a very strong military, a very united country, and typically a strong economy. There are MANY bad things about it, but i think the few good things in facism outweigh the few good things in a communist or socialist government

I'd say socialist, only because facists (read - Hitler, Moussolini, Pinochet, Peron, Franco) have a history of killing opposition.

At least socialism works to a degree in Sweden, even if it stifles people from working hard to become wealthy.

If I had to pick one I'd pick socialist. This is odd considering I'm completely conservative (except social, which isn't really political conservatism, anyway). However, I would rather government only control some of my life than all of it.

I agree with Roch Cop. This is the 2nd time this week I've agreed with him. He must be having some sort of influence on me. Common sense prevails I guess.
