INNIT!!!!

Most of the storylines have been done before and its got the token american, so that they can get more sales in the U.S. The effects, along with its parent programme are a lot better than we were used to, but by todays standards some are still a bit ropey. I also think it would be better as a national series instead of having everything set in Cardiff, which is probably down to budget restraints and the fact that Mr Davies lives there. I must say I've been less than enthralled.

the producer William Davies always said Torchwood was the "adult" spin-off of Doctor Who.So you'll always have the sex& stuff as part & parcel of the stories. The storylines I honestly think have been really inventive - my fave was the one with Daniella Denby-Ashe but last week's effort with the 1953 plane thing was utter garbage.

I like Torchwood, and the sex isn't unnecessary, it's just part of life. Innit.

yeh. got to agree. last nights episode was interesting but the endless sex got a bit dull and spoilt it. Personally I can't wait for the season final with the Dalek, a gay Zygon and captain Jack getting it on at a swingers club in the Tardis.

I just personally think that in includeing all this stuff they think torchwood automaticly becomes 'adult' science fiction. In fact it just makes it childish - oh look at us we get to swear! If they would just concentrate on the charictors and the plots then they might get somewhere.

I think the whole show is awful! Anything Russel T Davis does for TV is full of unnecessary scenes...........

i think they do that to gain a wider audience. not all people enjoy the super-natural appeal to it, or the action. they try to include romance and comedy in it to attract more people and get more money. but i do agree, although i kinda like the unnecessary sex lool

Yeah. The 1953 plane one was b*llocks. Totally unconvincing.

Some of them have been good, though.
