There are several medical issues that could cause infrequent periods. You haven't really provided enough information to be able to narrow anything down. I would definitely recommend consulting a gynecologist, though.

I am only 25 and i have the same problem. I have pcod. Poly-cystic ovarian disease and i only get mine once or twice a year but my fiancee loves that .
