Hi,
Happy Christmas, everyone!! I want to start up a business by getting my own website, but I have no idea how to get started. If anyone can point me in the right direction with the most basic steps, it would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you!!

Log into Yahoo Small Business, there you can set up a website for free and they have tons or information for you. Also, look at the Small Business Administration website for a start-up checklist, VERY helpful. It is rather expensive and time consuming on the front end if you plan to have employees, but SOOO worth it. www.sba.gov is the website. Much luck to you!!!

I'm not sure exactly what you're interested in, but I can highly recommend my company. I sell Award-Winning Usborne books and absolutely LOVE it! I just earned a trip to Punta Cana this year. There IS a minimal investment but it includes books, a training cd-rom, catalogs, datebook, catalogs, and more. Free 800 support, online site for consultants, and continual help from me via phone and internet. The December kit is only $20!!! so if you are interested email me at rnrhoney@gmail.com asap. I have sold Avon, Mark, Tupperware, DK Books, and Discovery toys and I can assure you, this is the finest company to work for. They are rated as one of Forbes top small businesses in the country! Super commissions, prizes, and recognition. You can also check out my website www.bestbooksforkids.net and click on "Income Opportunities". Good Luck to you!! Andrea in NJ

If money is an issue, and you can keep your full time job until the income from this business takes off, then check out home based network marketing businesses. With baby boomers being around late 40's to early 60's, the wellness industry is taking off. (think vitamins)

There are a bunch of network marketing companies doing this. I did some research and ended up in USANA Health Sciences. If you're interested, let me know.
