I was born and raised in Texas. I am 35 years old. i've never met a cowboy and I hate country music
I rarely see horses or cows.

Yes I live in Texas and proud of it. Yes there are still some real cowboys here. Some cowboys still live on ranches and have horses & cows. We also have farmers that provide a lot of the food everyone eats. We also have large cities and small towns just like any other state. I know a lot of people do not like Texas but it really is a good state and the people are real friendly. Oh yes and we still have the Dallas Cowboys.

Depends, do u mean if there are still cowboys in Texas? If so, yes there are some, but not many. Especially not in the cities. If You mean if the Dallas Cowboys are still in Texas, then yes, we Have the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans

Are there still cowboys in Texas? Yes. There are professional rodeo cowboys as well as ranchers and ranch hands who make their living raising cattle.
Does Texas still have a football team named Cowboys. Yes.
Is Texas still like the wild west you see in old movies? Of course not. Texas cities are just as urban as pretty much everywhere else in the world. However, we do have a significant amount of ranch land as well as plenty of rural agricultural communities. And yes, people do wear cowboy hats, boots, and ride horses (but, with the exception of professional cowboys, mostly for recreational purposes)

Yes, occasionally, a real cowboy will cross my path here in Texas. Unlike most people's belief of what we have here, we are just like any other place. Lots of suburbs, a huge melting pot of culture, little towns here and there in the middle of nowhere with huge satellite dishes in their yards, extremely hot weather and a lot of people who wear cowboy hats and have never touched a horse.
