at what week does the belly start showing up???

I have two older sisters and they are trying so hard to have a baby, They are both having a swollen belly but they say is just weight gain, I really want to be have their baby. So just to let you guys/gals know that I'm not the one pregnant, hopefully in 2 or 3 years, not now though (still in college :) )
I'm seriously considering being a surrogate mother for my sisters if they are not able to have kids at all. ... I duno.. I hope their swollen bellies are a sure sign. Thank you for all your answers!

everyone is different but at a week ... I doubt you'll show The fetus is literally the size of a peanut in the first month. Most women start showing at like 20 weeks some as early as month 2 or 3. I was late and just started showing an obvious baby belly at month 6 . I did however gain a massive amount of weight in my stomach ( and I'm a thin girl) before I started showing, So... You may be gaining weight but showing I doubt it.

I didn't REALLY start showing until about 6-7 months. I'm 9 1/2 months now, and you can really tell I'm ready!!!! If you're on the bigger side I think you do show earlier from what I've seen. Because there's already padding there that's inevitably going to push out. Thinner women show later, because babies are small for the most part at the beginning and don't start filling your belly up until later. But if you are short you might show sooner because things get backed up faster. Everyone's different and it happens at different times for everyone. It'll happen for you too. Congratulations!!!

My first time I started showing around 14-16 weeks...pretty early I thought. The second time I showed around 18-20 weeks. It is different for every woman, though. I had a lady come in my office the other day who was 12 weeks pregnant, and she had an obvious pooch.

First baby? I'd say around 20 weeks. Around the time when you will have your first ultrasound. If your super skinny could be a few weeks sooner, or if your overweight could be later. It's a mental thing too. I never wanted any pressure on my belly so i started wearing looser clothes early which made me look like I was showing.

Bloating in the stomach is not the first sign of pregnancy. In general you have cramping and a missed period first. Then a positive home pregnancy test and a visit to a doctor or midwife is a good way to confirm a pregnancy. Best of luck.

It pretty much depends on the person's body. Some show at an early stage of two month where some start to show by their second trimester.

I started showing at 2 1/2 months but thats because I am skinny. It just depends on what weight you are.

around 3 to 4 months u should be showing a little depends on the person too good luck!!!

At around the middle of second trimester. (If I am recalling correctly) around 20 - 24 weeks. And it happens a little earlier if you have had more than one child, or thin.

it depends on how thin you are. if you are really really skinny. you could see a very small pooch, and i do mean small now, at 3 months. if you already have a small pooch down there, you wont notice it any bigger until your 4th month probably. congratulations and God bless you. i would love to have another baby and i cant. how blessed you are. ;o)
