I love Dead Like Me. The characters, the stories... it's a unique way of looking at life: by looking at death.

It's funny, surprising, well-written and well-acted. Season 2 is much better than season 1 in terms of character development and plotlines. More than once I got a little teary-eyed during episodes.

It can be darkly funny, but it can also be poignant. Lots of truly sweet moments.

I would suggest you either watch the SciFi version or avoid watching it with little kids. The language can be vulgar at best, but it's the kind of language the characters would use in real life, IMO.

I pasted it on Tv a few times, haven't really gotten into it. It looks like it might be a good little comedy though. It really doesn't interest me that much. The whole grim ripper thing.

I love the show.I like the reaper aspect of the show, and that they are still, joe smo, that still has to have a day job.

No, it was pretty silly and outright ridiculous. That is why Mandy Patinkin left and went to Criminal Minds.
