Patience you will need to use patience to get your computer secure. One of the best sites I have found to help with that is Tom-Cat.
The Internet is not a safe place if you go online without securing your computer. The information here may seem like a lot to absorb, especially for novice computer users, yet if you are patient and take each item one at a time you will soon realize how uncomplicated this really is. Following these protection guidelines is an absolute must in today's online world.
After applying everything listed here you are lowering your vulnerability to almost zero; however nothing will ever protect you 100%, and don't ever believe anyone who claims otherwise.

you're extremely properly lined. I run in regards to the comparable issues... I had some subject concerns with Comodo protection+ and specific video taking part in cards (Nvidia) - sparkling displays whilst working the appliance. Turning off the protection+ cleared that subject. MS necessities i do no longer run - i've got not got faith MS has any sturdy anti-"something", this is a secondary product for them.... Avira and Avast are the right rated, loose AV products. Comodo or Zonealarm are the tops in loose firewalls. Malwarebytes stuff it sturdy, as is the SuperAntiSpyware - this is the undemanding property you % for specific.

I install a few, and have used them for years. Here's the list.
For antivirus, Avast antivirus. They have a free version for personal use.
For spyware, do a search for Spybot search and Destroy, Adaware, and Spyware Blaster. I use all three. Also Microsoft defender is available for free. Not sure how good it is.
For a firewall, if you don't like Microsoft xp's, Zone Alarm is very good, and also has a free version.
Hope that helps, and good luck!

You could protect your PC from virus by using a free anti virus scan available from Norton.
Alternately you could prevent any spyware in your system by downloading spybot or adware from the site www.download.com
Cheers

Spybot is good freeware. However for full all round service I would recommend either Norton or McAfee. They both cost a small amount but are worth it to give you peace of mind when online.
